The Gansbaai font is an all-uppercase typeface that looks like a mix between modern and vintage. Designer Babuino released the font for free.
The term Gansbaai came from the name of a fishing village and a top tourist destination called “Bay of Geese” (sometimes referred to as Gans Bay) in South Africa. Gans Bay has a dense population of sharks, which inspired Babuino to create the Gansbaai font. The font looks similar to a shark’s unique fin shape.
The Gansbaai font family comes in two weights: regular and light. And it also supports central, eastern, and western European languages.
