Alessio Laiso created Aleo Font – a sleek, versatile, slab serif typeface to pair perfectly with the Lato typeface by Łukasz Dziedzic. As you can see, it has a semi-rounded look and a fine structure which makes it easy to read. It also boasts of a low contrast and open counterforms.
This typeface family comes in six different styles: light, light italic, regular, regular italic, bold, and bold italic. It also has ligatures and supports more than 130 languages.
You can definitely use this font with just about everything. But I find it especially fitting in headlines and blogs.
